The Erak estate and the rustic oak house are approximately 80 km (50 miles) away from the Croatian capital Zagreb. The estate is an hour’s drive from the Franjo Tuđman Airport (the international airport in the vicinity of Zagreb).

There are three different ways to get to the estate and the rustic oak house by the

  • D1 state road
  • A1 highway
  • ŽC 3185 county road (through Barilović)

D1 state road

If you are driving from Karlovac to Slunj (or vice versa), take the exit towards Čatrnja, drive a few kilometers and turn left towards Velika Crkvina. After that you will be driving towards the west and the Korana River where you can find an old steel bridge close to our estate and the rustic oak house.

A1 highway

After you have taken the exit Bosiljevo from highway A1, you will be driving towards Generalski Stol, crossing the bridge over the Dobra River in Lešće. Then you will be driving towards Perjasica, crossing the bridge over the Mrežnica River in Kejići. After arriving in Perjasica you have 2 different approaches; one is to drive to Donja Perjasica and the other is towards the sign Koranska Strana. If you go with the first option, you will have to follow the sign “Vila Erak” until you find the estate. If you choose the second option, you will get to the old steel bridge near the estate.

ŽC 3185 county road (through Barilović)

After Karlovac you will be driving very shortly on state road D1 towards Split, but immediately after the Mrežnica Bridge and before Turanj turn right towards Barilovići on the county road ŽC 3185. Then you will be driving on the county road all the time passing Barilović. Drive along the Korana River, pass Šćulac and Siča. Finally, turn left for Donja Perjasica and follow the sign “Vila Erak” until you find the estate.

In all the aforementioned combinations, the last 3 to 4 km (1,8 to 2,4 miles) are unpaved, but the estate is accessible through a gravel road.
